Manna Food Bank
Capital Rivers Church works in partnership with Manna Food Center to help glorify God by giving to the poor and needy in our communities. Manna Food Center's origins reflect the shared efforts of the community, civic and faith leaders to establish a centralized food back for Montgomery County. We collect non-perishable food items during our services on the 3rd Sunday of the month (except for November and December).
Backpack Drive
Capital Rivers Church will be continuing our partnership with local organizations again this year to provide Backpacks for children in need through Montgomery County, Prince George's County and DC. Your generous donations can ease the burden of back to school prep for a family. In 2025, we exceeded our goal and collected more than 175 backpacks. Thank you for your support!
Thanksgiving Baskets
Capital Rivers Church will be continuing our partnership with local organizations again this year to provide Thanksgiving Food Baskets for needy families. We are still in a period of recovery from COVID-19 and many families need help now, more than ever. Thank you for your continued help providing Thanksgiving meals for families in Montgomery County and the surrounding area!
Toy Drive
Capital Rivers Church will be continuing our partnership with local organizations again this year to provide Toys for needy children through Montgomery County, Prince George's County and DC. Your generous donations can make a holiday wish come true for a child or teen. We far exceeded our goal and we are so thankful for your help!
